For the past twenty years, Southbank Sinfonia has been invited to the historic town of Anghiari in Tuscany, Italy, for a week each July, bringing a huge variety of symphonic, chamber and operatic music together with world-renowned guest artists. Here's a look at 2022's highlights!
Our wind section stepped out from the back row of the orchestra to showcase their symphonic skills in the regal surroundings of St Clement Danes Church.

Flux saw Southbank Sinfonia reunite with movement director Imogen Knight (Amadeus, National Theatre) in a performance that reimagined the concert experience.
Each year we travel to the Tuscan hilltop-town of Anghiari for a week full of music in stages dotted around the piazzas, and further afield.
We step into our time machine and explored 400 years of music in just 45 minutes. We leap across centuries guided by Southbank Sinfonia's musicians who shared their stories and tricks with the help of
specially-made videos and big-screen projections.
