Southbank Sinfonia | Castello di Galbino

Castello di Galbino

For the twelfth year, Southbank Sinfonia will take the splendid Castello di Galbino for the duration of the Anghiari Festival to accommodate Friends and supporters. Castello di Galbino is kindly hosted by our dear friends James and Elizabeth Mann, who are able to offer a wealth of information about Anghiari and the surrounding areas.

Galbino, situated 5km outside Anghiari, is a castle of medieval origins with frescoed galleries, carved stone staircases, arched ceilings and antique furnishings. An impressive and unique place to enjoy a week with fellow supporters, Castello di Galbino has nine bedrooms, several reception rooms and grounds with swimming pool.

The relaxed atmosphere and the availability of fresh local produce encourage ad hoc informal meals both in Galbino’s large kitchen and al fresco, cooked by the wonderful Norella who produces delicious authentic Tuscan dishes.

The price of accommodation at Galbino includes breakfast, informal lunches and two dinners during the week with drinks, snacks and fruit available at all times. The price of your stay also includes entry to all Festival concerts and Southbank Sinfonia private events during the week, organised for you by a dedicated member of the Southbank Sinfonia team.

Rooms are available for seven nights, arriving Saturday 22 and departing Saturday 29 July, allowing you to experience all the festival has to offer. Prices (per room) range from £1,425 to £1,875.
