William Lloyd Webber Aurora
Elgar Sea Pictures
Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade

Simon Over conductor
Anna Huntley mezzo-soprano

Join us for a special gala concert as our 2016 players complete their Southbank Sinfonia journey. Friends from previous years of Southbank Sinfonia will return to play alongside their latest colleagues, collectively creating an orchestra of symphonic power.

Bringing the year to a rousing conclusion is Scheherazade, a feast of imagination and brilliant instrumental effect that presents musical snapshots from The Arabian Nights. Rimsky-Korsakov unleashes a scintillating arsenal of colour that so vividly describes stories full of wonder and endless possibility.

After the concert, we invite you to celebrate all that the musicians have achieved this year in a post-concert party with drinks and canapés.

Tickets £55, including interval drinks and a post-concert party
