Southbank Sinfonia enjoys a longstanding role in the cultural life of Guernsey. Members of its music-loving community kindly support the bursary of one of our players; in turn, our chamber groups visit the island regularly to help foster its next generation of musical talent. This year, the whole orchestra travels there for an evening of Baroque music rich in glowing drama. Traversing the musical DNA of Europe, explore the early eighteenth century stylings of Britain, France, Germany and beyond, each with their own delights and nuances.
