Southbank Sinfonia Family Concert

5 March 2016 | 11:00 am - 12:15 pm

| £6.50, £10

One day, in the blink of an eye, the world of music was changed forever. By day, Beethoven was just an ordinary – albeit rather grumpy – guy. By night though, his incredible imagination blew wide open what was thought possible… and symphonies never sounded the same again.

Join Southbank Sinfonia for a thrilling symphonic adventure. On the way we’ll encounter titanic battles and incredible powers, all hidden within Beethoven’s heroic ‘Eroica’ Symphony.

With 34 electrifying young players as your guides, you can also expect dramatic lighting effects and big screen projections that help to take you right inside the orchestra and the music being played.

After the concert you can meet the musicians and discover your own inner-hero as you try out some of their instruments in Cadogan Hall’s foyer.

Ideal for children aged 5 – 11
