“Southbank Sinfonia is not only a neighbour, but a kindred spirit. Artistically and organisationally, the alliance between SbS and the NT is the happiest of things. They’re open to experiment, flexible in thinking and practice, and are great to work with. ‘Every Good Boy…’ wouldn’t have been possible, or even conceived, without them.”
Nick Starr, Executive Director, National Theatre
“In the Sinfonia we found a collective of gifted young players who were hungry to test the conventions of classical music performance, and who met our every demand with bravery and enthusiasm, without ever compromising the quality and seriousness of their playing.”
