Born in London, Samuel read his Music undergraduate at the University of Surrey followed by his postgraduate degree at the Royal College of Music where he studied with Tony Hougham (Orchestra of the Royal Opera House) and Kevin Rundell (London Philharmonic Orchestra) and Baroque Bass with Peter Buckoke (London Handel Orchestra).
Samuel is a member of the ARCO Collective, a group of musicians, composers and artists who specialize in performance art.
Aside from classical music Samuel is also a founding member of a country/folk trio called This Country Needs More Country (TCNMC).
